

King's Church is led by a team of three elders, each of whom is also a trustee.

Robert is the senior pastor. He was born and raised in Birmingham, and became a Christian when he was eighteen through the example of a friend. He moved to Uckfield with his wife Nicky in 1998.
They have two grown up children. Robert trained in mechanical engineering before going to Bible College. In 1976 they went to Bolivia working for four years church planting. When they got back to Birmingham, Robert started and ran two churches before coming to Uckfield.
Robert likes getting to know Uckfield's people, and looks for ways to get involved with projects and groups in the town.

Jon & Siri met in 1980 whilst working in a refugee camp for Vietnamese Boat People in Hong Kong. They have lived in Uckfield since 1984 and have three grown-up sons –one who lives in Australia.
Siri is from Norway and is a qualified nurse and a trained counselor. She works in the church with pastoral care, counseling and with the parenting course. Siri loves living in Uckfield and being involved in the local community.
Jon is a director of ITM-Soil - a local business that specialises in geotechnical and structural monitoring of civil engineering projects all around the world. In addition to serving the church as an Elder, Jon has many passions including bird watching, riding motorbikes and supporting Norwich City.
