Parenting Course

We run a Parenting Course with another local charity called Fegans.  This takes place at the King's Centre.

The Course is a valuable resource for parents of any-aged children, but particularly when they are at primary school.  Health professionals in the area are actively recommending this course.

You will have the opportunity to share with other parents in similar situations and learn from each other's mistakes.  The atmosphere is relaxed and freindly and deals with issues such as:-

• Peer pressure and friendship skills
• Playing with your child
• Encouragement and Praise
• Rewards and incentives
• Setting limits and boundaries
• Problem solving
• Communication

We also run a Big Daddy course which is tailored specifically for fathers.  Knowing that many dads would like to do the Parenting Course but have to work during the week, this runs on a Saturday morning and includes a free cooked breakfast each week!

Feedback from previous Big Daddy courses included the following:-
