Statement of Faith

1. The full inspiration of the Bible. It is the Word of God.
2. The Trinity. There is one God, but in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
3. The sinfulness of all men, and therefore the need for all men to be born again.
4. The Divinity of the Lord Jesus Christ, who was born of the virgin Mary, fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life and died for our sins on the cross, was buried and rose again from the dead, ascending into heaven.
5. The forgiveness of sins through faith in Jesus Christ.
6. The Holy Spirit who brings a person to faith in Christ, and who lives in the believer.
7. The Church which comprises believers through the ages and throughout the world, but which also has numerous local expressions.
8. Water baptism for believers, and the Lord's supper.
9. The return of the Lord Jesus Christ in glory.
10. The final judgement; heaven and hell.
