New day

Some of our people recently went to an event called "New Day". I've asked one of them to write a few words about it, and here they are:

Well 18 of the youth and 4 adults from the church went up to a showground in Newark which is near Nottingham to join 5000 other young people from different churches around the country and some people from across the world.
You may say um...ok why is that a big deal 5000 young 'bible geeks' joining together for a week in an agricultural showground?
Well the big deal is this:
We joined together as an army of Christ to impact the city of Nottingham.

I personally like all the rest of the group found it an amazing week. God was really there with us.
My favourite bits were definitely going out into the city centre and spreading the word about god to others including Goths, druggies and alcoholics and others.
The reactions we got were interesting as we got a total mix of reactions including some really interested people. And a diagram was all had to start explaining to them.

Also the stadium events were good as you could still let your self go in worship to god even though there were non-Christians there as well.

We met a lot of people from different churches, made lots of new friends got touched by god and had a really really great time.
