Young People (YPs)

We run a group for the 14-18 age range, which comprises a social time with drinks and snacks, followed by a study or discussion afterwards. We often play games to help the group develop friendships and also to physically demonstrate what we may be talking about that particular week. We try to make it fun and avoid cheese (whether we succeed or not?).

Some weeks are really relaxed with an open floor where people can ask/say what they like, whilst other times we have a structured debate. We aim to draw nearer to God, and to be honest and helpful to each other in a secure and comfortable environment.

This group meets on Wednesdays from 7.30pm - 9pm at the King's Centre.

Not Quite As Young People (NQAYP)

We run a group for 18-25 year olds, though we have some year 13s from UCTC that attend. This group is very relaxed and we usually start by having drinks with cakes/biscuits and a chat. We then usually have a laid back chat about the sermon that was preached at church on the preceding Sunday and how it influences or challenges us in our daily lives.

We tend not to play any games, but still hope to be fun and relevant. We also share what is happening in our lives so we can pray and offer practical help to each other. It's hoped that a real friendship will develop amongst those who attend and that this will overflow into their lives together.
